Glass with real weight to it, raised on a faceted octagonal foot and drawn upward into a body that twists as it rises up to 30cm. The cutting is deep, full relief rather than surface etching, so the walls hold light in bright veins that shift as you walk past. The rim finishes in a soft crown of points, uneven by design, which keeps the whole thing from looking machined. Heavy enough at the base to take a tall arrangement without wobbling. Give it a single branch of blossom, or leave it empty on a sideboard and let it work as sculpture.
