1. About these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website velvoria.co.uk (the "Site") and any purchase of goods from Velvoria Home ("we", "us", "our"). By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Site or place an order.
2. Who we are
Velvoria Home is a sole trader business operated by Robertson Pereira, trading from:

Velvoria Home is not currently registered for VAT (annual turnover below the UK VAT threshold of £90,000). Prices displayed on the Site therefore do not include VAT.
3. Eligibility to purchase
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding contract to place an order. By ordering, you warrant that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
4. Products
4.1. We take reasonable care to display our products accurately. However, the colour, finish and dimensions shown on the Site are indicative — natural materials (ceramic, wood, stone, leather) may vary slightly between pieces, which is part of their character.
4.2. Product availability is not guaranteed until your order is confirmed. We reserve the right to withdraw any product from sale at any time.
4.3. Prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling (£). As Velvoria Home is not VAT-registered, no VAT is charged or added to the displayed price. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout.
4.4. Many of our pieces are sourced from studio partners and suppliers outside the United Kingdom. We take care to describe materials, dimensions and finishes accurately. Please allow for the 3–5 business day processing time set out in our Shipping Policy.
5. How a contract is formed
5.1. Placing an order via the Site constitutes an offer to purchase.
5.2. You will receive an automated order confirmation email once your order is submitted. This email acknowledges receipt of your offer but does not form a contract.
5.3. A binding contract of sale is formed only when we dispatch the goods and send you a dispatch confirmation email.
5.4. If we cannot accept your order (e.g. stock unavailable, pricing error, suspected fraud), we will notify you and refund any payment in full.
6. Payment
6.1. Payment is processed securely via Shopify Payments, PayPal and other providers displayed at checkout.
6.2. We do not store your full card details on our servers.
6.3. In the event of an obvious pricing error that a reasonable customer would recognise as incorrect, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund you in full, even after a dispatch confirmation has been sent.

8. Your right to cancel (cooling-off period)
8.1. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order and receive a refund within 14 calendar days from the day you receive the goods, without giving a reason.
8.2. The cancellation process, return address and refund timings are set out in our Refund Policy.
9. Faulty or incorrect items
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by these Terms. If goods are faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund in accordance with the Act.
10. Intellectual property
10.1. All content on the Site — including text, images, logos, product descriptions and the Velvoria Home name — is our property or used under licence, and is protected by UK and international copyright and trademark law.
10.2. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from any Site content without our prior written permission.
11. User conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site;
- Transmit any malware, bots or automated scraping tools;
- Submit false or misleading information during checkout or account creation.
We reserve the right to cancel orders and block users who breach these Terms.
12. Limitation of liability
12.1. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
12.2. Subject to clause 12.1, our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the total price paid for that order.
12.3. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential or purely economic loss.
13. Events beyond our control
We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes, supply chain disruption, courier delays, fire, flood or governmental action.
14. Data protection
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK GDPR / Data Protection Act 2018 requirements.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Orders already placed are governed by the Terms in effect at the time of order.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, save that consumers resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland may bring proceedings in their local courts.
