A stacked vase in two materials: a faceted glass cup in deep green sitting on a chunky amber base.
The sections read as separate blocks set one on another, like a small totem, and the join is left visible rather than disguised. The glass is thick enough to hold colour at the edges and go almost clear in the middle, which changes as the light moves.
It suits tall, sparse stems, blossom or a single branch, something that gives it height without filling it. Put it on a plinth or a windowsill where light passes through the glass rather than falling on it.
