Three thick discs of amber glass fixed at staggered heights along a black steel stem, each one moulded with an uneven, water-worn edge so they read as pebbles rather than lenses. The light sits behind each disc and passes through the glass, which is thick enough to hold the colour properly. What comes out is a deep resinous gold rather than a yellow tint. The stem is plain and the base is a simple weighted disc; all the interest is in those three pieces of glass.
