A small footed dish, raised on three stub legs, with a coarse granular finish across the whole body.
The texture is worked into the glaze rather than applied on top, so it runs over the rim and down the legs without a seam. Raising the bowl off the surface gives it a shadow, which is most of the reason it reads as an object rather than as a saucer.
Use it for rings and earrings on a bedside table, for keys by the door, or for a watch at the end of a desk. It holds very little on purpose.
