A hinged jewellery case built on a timber carcass and finished in textured tan leather.
The leather is drawn tight over the frame and stitched along the edges, so the box holds a hard, square shape rather than the soft one leather usually gives. Brass hinges take the lid, and a small catch at the front closes it flush. Inside, the tray is lined in a pale neutral that makes it easy to see what is in there, which is the opposite of the dark velvet these boxes normally come in.
It is sized for the pieces you actually wear, so it stays on the dressing table instead of inside a drawer.
