Three slim rods crossed and clamped at the waist, splaying into a tripod below and rising into a fan above, with three opal globes fixed at staggered heights along them. The globes are matte and evenly lit, so what you get is three soft moons at different levels rather than one bright source. The light spreads without a hotspot anywhere. It is a lot of drawing for very little material, which is the whole appeal: it occupies a corner visually while taking up almost no floor.
