A small sphere of marble set close against the wall and lit from within, so the stone reads as a single warm point rather than a fitting. At twelve centimetres it is deliberately modest: the kind of light that goes in a run of three up a staircase, or as a pair either side of a mirror, where anything larger would take over. The veining is different on every one, and because the form is a sphere there is no orientation to get right: it simply goes up.
