A wide, low disc of stoneware drawn almost flat, rising to a neck barely wider than a finger. The glaze is where the piece happens pulled around the body in slow concentric rings, pooling darker at the shoulder and breaking to bare clay at the edge, so no two come out of the kiln alike. The opening takes a single stem, one dried branch, or nothing at all: empty on a shelf it reads as an object rather than a vessel waiting to be filled. Size: D 15cm x H 7cm
