A floor-standing magazine rack: a leather slung panel held open between two slim metal uprights.
The frame is a single continuous line, bent rather than jointed, and finished bright so it reads as structure and not as furniture. The panel hangs in a soft curve, deepening as it fills. Nothing is fixed shut, so the whole thing stays light on its feet.
It lives beside a sofa or an armchair, where the pile of things you are halfway through would otherwise be on the floor. It is narrow enough to sit in a corner or at the end of a bath without getting in the way.
