A lidded box cut from a single block of stone, its surface left open-pored and honest rather than polished to a shine.
The lid sits flush and lifts with a soft weight that tells you what it is made of before you look. Every piece carries its own pitting and banding, so no two boxes read quite the same. It measures 19cm long by 12cm deep.
Keep it on a dressing table for rings and earrings at the end of the day, or on a hallway shelf for the small things that otherwise go missing. It is heavy enough to stay exactly where you put it.
