A perforated metal disc resting on a turned stone foot, with a second disc beneath it to catch what falls.
The top is drilled in a fine radial pattern that lets the smoke rise evenly instead of streaming from one point. The foot is cut from pale stone and tapers slightly, so the metal appears to float above it. Lifting the disc gives you the full bowl for cones.
It reads as a small piece of equipment rather than an ornament, which is why it works on a desk or a bedside table. Two at different heights make a better group than one.
