The face is divided into a grid of small reflective squares, each one set slightly apart from its neighbour so a fine seam of shadow runs between them. It is a simple idea executed with patience: the light never falls evenly across the surface, which keeps a plain silver frame from ever looking flat. Bright, graphic and unapologetically modern. This one belongs in a room with clean lines rather than one full of pattern. Set it against a dark shelf where the squares can pick up whatever is opposite, or use a pair to bookend a low run of art books.
