A single length of washed linen laid over the sofa and left loose, the way a cover behaves in a house that is actually lived in. Woven at 160gsm from yarn-dyed flax, it holds its folds without stiffness and creases in the manner linen is supposed to crease. Each wash takes it a shade softer. It reaches over the arms and down past the seat, forgiving whatever the furniture underneath has been through, and asks nothing of you beyond a shake and a straighten now and then.
