Calacatta Island Pendant

A broad, shallow disc of marble hung from a polished gunmetal ball, the whole fitting reading as two shapes and no joinery. The stone is dramatic: cream and warm gold shot through with deep violet-grey veining that only shows its full range once the light is behind it. Lit, the veins go dark and the ground goes amber. Sized for a kitchen island or a dining table, where a wide shade earns its keep by spreading light across the surface rather than spotlighting the middle of it.
